KP-09 ultra-polymer sheave wheel insert
The hoisting Sheave inserts is mainly to prevent the wear between hoisting sheave and wire rope due to direct contact with each other. The hoisting Sheave inserts plays a very important role in protect the service life of wire rope. The wire rope may cause rotation during the operation. If the friction coefficient is too high, the rotation of the wire rope will be hindered to cause the damage to the wire rope. For this situation, the wire rope must be led into the shaft by resistance as small as possible to reduce the torque and rotation stress.
For the above requirements, our company carried out a number of experiments and finally selected a new material - KP-09 ultra-high polymer. It has superior performance, greatly reducing the damage to the rope and effectively extending the service life of wire rope. It is the most ideal choice for the hoisting sheave pad.
