    Disc brakes use butterfly springs to generate braking force and rely on oil pressure to release the brakes. In the braking state, the positive pressure of the brake shoe against the brake disc is determined by the pressure of the working oil in the hydraulic cylinder.

    Disc brakes use butterfly springs to generate braking force and rely on oil pressure to release the brakes. In the braking state, the positive pressure of the brake shoe against the brake disc is determined by the pressure of the working oil in the hydraulic cylinder.

    Technical features:

    1. Adopt oil cylinder rear disc brake to avoid hydraulic oil contaminating the brake;

    2. The main oil line uses a built-in integrated oil line system to supply oil to each brake to reduce oil leakage;

    3. The external pipeline uses precision-rolled pipes and ferrule-type joints, truly achieving zero solder joint connection;

    4. Use asbestos-free and environmentally friendly brake shoes;

    5. The exposed surfaces of the brakes are all nickel-plated.

    main feature

    Brake use and maintenance precautions, common faults and solutions

    1. The brake shoes must not be stuck with oil, and the brake disc must not be oily during use, so as not to reduce the friction coefficient of the brake shoes and affect the braking force;

    2. The brake shoe gap should be checked frequently during normal use. If the brake shoe gap exceeds 2mm, it should be adjusted in time to avoid affecting the braking force;

    3. In mines used for lowering heavy objects, mechanical braking cannot be relied on. This will cause the brake disc to heat up, which will affect the braking torque in the event of an emergency and cause a major accident. Therefore, dynamic braking should be used;

    4. When replacing the brake shoe, attention should be paid to pressing the brake shoe tightly. If the size does not meet the requirements, it should be repaired;

    5. When the hoist is operating normally, if oil leakage occurs in the brake hydraulic cylinder, the sealing ring should be replaced in time;

    6. When repairing the brake disc, the container should be placed on a tank (empty container) at the bottom of the well or at the wellhead, or the two containers should be lifted to an intermediate balance state for inspection. During inspection, the first and second pair of brakes should be in braking state;

    7. Insufficient roughness of the brake disc and large deflection of the end face of the brake disc will accelerate the wear of the brake shoes. It is recommended to re-engineer the brake disc;

    8. In the single rope hoist, due to the wear of the main bearing bush, the axial movement of the brake disc is large, which will accelerate the wear of the brake shoe. It is recommended to repair the main bearing bush;

    9. When the elevator finds that the brake release is slow during normal operation, the air release valve should be used to release the air;

    10. The butterfly spring group should be inspected every year or after 5*10 to the fifth power of braking;

    Inspection method: First put the brake in full braking state, then gradually pour pressure oil into the hydraulic tank to slowly increase the pressure in the brake hydraulic cylinder. Then release each brake one by one under different pressures, and record the different brake shoes. The brake release pressure, the difference between the highest oil pressure and the lowest oil pressure should not exceed 10% of the maximum working pressure, otherwise the butterfly spring in the brake with the lowest brake release oil pressure should be replaced;

    11. Improvement in the connection method between the brake shoe and the lining plate: In the past, six copper screws were used to connect the brake shoe and the lining plate. This not only reduced the contact area of the brake shoe and shortened the service life of the brake shoe, but also made the copper screws easy to loosen during use. If looseness causes scratches on the brake disc, it is recommended to change the brake shoe to a plug-in type on site, that is, cut the brake shoe into a stop and insert it into the lining plate;

    12. Common faults and solutions:

    1. The brake does not open: the reason is that the hydraulic station has no oil pressure or insufficient oil pressure. The hydraulic station should be checked;

    2. The brake cannot brake: the reason may be that the hydraulic station or brake is damaged or stuck. The hydraulic station and brake should be inspected and repaired;

    3. The braking time is long, the sliding distance is long during braking, and the braking force is small. The reasons may be:

    a. Overload use, overspeed use;

    b. The gap between the brake shoes is too large;

    c. There is oil on the brakes and brake shoes;

    d. There is something wrong with the butterfly spring, find out the cause and take appropriate measures;

    4. The brake shoe wears unevenly and wears slowly: the reason is that the brake is installed incorrectly, the brake disc deflects too much, the movement or the spindle tilts too much, find out the cause and deal with it separately;

    5. Brake release and braking are slow for the following reasons:

    a. There is air in the hydraulic system;

    b. The gap between the brake shoes is too large;

    c. The sealing ring is damaged, find out the cause and repair it.
